LMnt

rebrand

I was approached earlier this year by a personal trainer who had decided that he wanted to turn his service into a brand to allow himself further potential room for future growth.

He had tried to do this himself, but he wasn’t happy with the name, branding, or content which is when he contacted me.

He felt that although his original name of ‘Preservation Fitness’ was inline with his values and attitudes when it comes to training, it lacked some of the subtlety and intrigue of his favourite brands, and frankly just wasn’t cool enough.

The fitness accounts which he wanted to take inspiration from were Theo Caldwell, Adi Gillespie and their previous brand UVU Club, but with his own twist.

Creating the brand

Josiah approached me with a clear set of values.

His training philosophy revolved around being the best physically and mentally that he could be.

He didn’t strive for lifting big weights like so many personal trainers out there, but instead spent a lot of his time focussing on the often overlooked areas of balance, flexibility and mind-to-muscle control.

Upon spending time together I quickly found out that he was a very unique athlete.

He trained for his movements to be able to flow like water.

Training barefoot to be more connected to the ground.

He did breathing exercises and meditation every day.

His muscles needed to be able to explode at any second.

He was truly connected to all of the elements, utilising them in his training.
